UNIFIBRE, steel fibers for reinforced concrete: pieces of cold drawn steel wire.
Mixed together with the other concrete elements, they increase the mechanical performances of the finished product.
Using fiber concrete reinforcement allows to reduce the concrete shrinkage-induced cracking and the cracks width, because fibers create a “binding effect” on the concrete.
Fibers are used for industrial floors, massive pourings, prefabricated concrete elements, civil buildings and tunnels.
